Vernado Liquid N+K and trace elements to grow better Maize/Corn

After male inflorescence the plants nutrient uptake from the leaf and soil is reduced to a minimum, the plants use the feed given between the 7-9 to 12-14 leaf stage, therefore it is important to ensure there is a good supply of N and K during this critical stage.

Recommend one or two applications of Vernado Liquid N+K and trace elements:

• 1st application Liquid N+K or just Liquid N

  - 7-9 leaves 400-500mm high.

• 2nd application Liquid N+K

  - Just before tasseling stage.

  
  
  

*In order to supply plants with an adequate dose of liquid N and K, repeated sprays maybe required, Increasing spray concentration to save on applications may result in leaf-burn. We would recommend herbage testing to ensure the correct rates and products required are being applied.

*Spray volume should be determined according to local requirements and conditions, if unsure always do a test trial ahead of time to determine the outcome.

*Application should be avoided during hot and dry days, if application is required during hot and dry climate apply later in the evenings.
